ISO Certification

Pictorial Offset Corporation and ISO
Pictorial Offset Corporation was the first commercial printer in the world to achieve ISO 9001:2000 (quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (environmental) registrations.

The ISO certification standard is accepted by more than 80 nations as the ultimate management standards for product and service quality and environmental commitment. The ISO 9001:2000 (quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (environment) registrations required nearly 40,000 manhours on the part of Pictorial Offset’s 250 employees over a 14-month period. Implementation of the processes began in October 1997 and Pictorial Offset passed the certification audits in December 1998. The registrations were approved in January 1999. An outside, ISO-accredited organization will continue to audit performance bi-annually on both registrations.
