Registration for ISO 14001:2004, the Environmental Management System, involves the identification of all potential parts of the business that could negatively impact the environment. A registered company is mandated to have written procedures that address these aspects of their business. This is accomplished through training all personnel on normal operation procedures as well as emergency actions in case of a system failure. The requirement also calls for identifying all Federal, state and local laws and confirming adherence to regulations. As with ISO 9001:2000, an outside, accredited firm is engaged to audit the applicant.

In 1998, our 60th anniversary, our entire organization invested over 40,000 man-hours to achieve our goal. Now, 7 years later, our registrations confirm our corporate goals to produce superior quality products with an unparalleled dedication to protecting the world we live in.
